Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the final episode of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of final season of production. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) among their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
