Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the return of Violet - and originated characters in Broadway shows that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She was first seen on television on Star Search at age 15 as well as has performed in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster is a soloist performing in the US as well as overseas along with Michael Rafter. They have performed songs from her debut CD "Wish" and the follow-up CD An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in 2011. As well as being an instructor and advisor at the Department of Theatre and Dance She was also conferred the degree from Ball State University. Her new TVLand series, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of 2015.
