Srushti began preparing for the UPSC examination in her third year of engineering studies. Following her graduation, she started to wonder whether she could enjoy a career in engineering job. Her goal became apparent when she shifted her focus to the civil service. Parents encouraged her to prepare for civils and make an impact in the community. She stayed motivated and determined to become an IAS officer. To be able to pass UPSC is a lot of work. While she was studying in engineering She also had to prepare different subjects in UPSC. Each day she allocated the time to study for exams. Within just 1 and 1/4 months, she passed her engineering tests, but stayed clear of all social interactions. The focus she believes is essential to clear the exam for government jobs and work in civil service. She was very committed to passing the exam and put in a lot of amount of work. Every day, she read the newspaper to keep up with current events. Rajya Sabha TV and online studying materials also proved to be a huge help for her.
